Smyrna Drive-In Church
Due to the extraordinary circumstances caused by the COVID-19 Virus, the church has been forced to make changes to our format and service styles. One of the ways that Smyrna is meeting that need is by hosting "Drive-In Church" on Sunday morning at 11:00 (until the social distancing requests are lifted). Here's how it works:
You and your family get in the car and drive to the church parking lot.
DO NOT OPEN YOUR CAR DOORS OR CAR WINDOWS.
It is very important that we comply with the governor's request to maintain social distancing. The church is seeking to be a solution, not a catalyst to the problem.
Park along the pictures shown below. Pull through the space so that you are facing the steps.
Weather permitting, we will have the song leader and preacher on the front porch. If not, they will be inside the vestibule, hopefully still visible.
Tune your car FM radio dial to 87.9.
Sing along in your car, say amen, flash your lights, and enjoy church.
PS - Pastor Andrew requests that you not honk your horn, simply because he is too easily distracted!
