The word of the day in most Christian churches on Sunday will be "Resurrection." To bring back to life. To restore what was once dead to life again. As Christians, do we truly believe in that word? As much as we should and will look back at the resurrection of Christ on Sunday, let us take the opportunity to look forward to the resurrection we will know some day! All the loved ones we've laid to rest will, if they trusted in Jesus, get up from that grave to meet Him in the air! What a glorious thought! We don't have to stay here in this wicked world forever and we will be reunited with our loved ones again some day. All this because of the FIRST resurrection. And an important thing to remember: if we don't have our faith anchored in the FIRST resurrection, we won't have any part of the COMING resurrection. As Christians, we should have two resposes (1) PRAISE BE TO GOD! We will be with Him forever because He lives and (2) GET TO WORK! There is a world, a community, a family out there who doesn't know. We have work to do. Let us be about the work of our risen Savior!
